It also contains an overview of the shipping industry and its workforce, and tackles crucial issues including labor contract negotiations and innovative ways to achieve growth in challenging economic times. Lincoln Property Company is a national real estate firm that has developed more than $11.5 billion in commercial properties across the country exceeding over 120 million square feet of space. SCG is working with the Lincoln team to brand the California division as one of the most diverse, entrepreneurial and active full-service commercial real estate firms in the region.
Specifically, SCG has helped bring visibility to the company’s varied investments across Southern California, including the highly-anticipated Runway project that will bring new retail, homes and office space to Playa Vista, linking the residential and commercial phases and helping to complete the vision for the dynamic community. Madison Square Garden
In 2012, the New York-based Madison Square Garden Company acquired the Forum in Inglewood and invested $120 million to restore the venue as a world-class entertainment destination. Sugerman Communications Group worked in partnership with MSG to ensure that media, government officials, civic leaders and local residents saw the project as a critical economic catalyst for Inglewood, and a turnaround for an aging and neglected facility whose future was otherwise in doubt.
Once the most celebrated sports and entertainment arena on the West Coast, the Forum spent 15 years underused and overlooked following the departure of the LA Lakers and LA Kings in 1999. The success of the project hinged on receiving several governmental approvals, and on overcoming opposition at the community level and from industry competitors. The storyline also highlighted MSG’s unmatched expertise in renovating iconic venues such as Radio City Music Hall, the Beacon Theater, and Madison Square Garden itself. Amid extensive national media exposure and widespread local celebration, the Forum re-opened in January 2014 with a series of highly anticipated concerts by The Eagles.
Sugerman Communications Group has created one of the nation’s most comprehensive and unique communications campaigns to significantly increase the visibility of sexual assault prevention and support programs for Loyola Marymount University and to engage the university community in a productive, ongoing conversation.
Inspired by an aspirational creed recited by every LMU student, the “Live the Lion’s Code” campaign highlights LMU’s sexual assault and prevention programs, and informs students about critical issues related to consent, bystander intervention and victim support. This multi-faceted campaign employs traditional and new media tools to maximize reach and impact, ties communications outreach to programs and training, and engages with key audiences year-round.
