For more than 80 years, the Coro Foundation’s fellowship program has been an extraordinary training ground to prepare future generations for leadership in public affairs and public service. The Coro Foundation is very much part of our firm’s DNA: founder Steve Sugerman is a member of the 1987 Fellows Class.
One of Steve’s classmates, LA County Supervisor Holly Mitchell, was honored at this year’s Coro Crystal Eagle Awards Gala with the Alumni Impact Award. Steve was even featured in her award video, along with U.S. Senators Alex Padilla and Laphonza Butler.
Sugerman Group also cheered on Crystal Eagle Award honoree Corinne Verdery, the CEO of Caruso and a longtime friend of our firm. Corinne was honored for her career-long contributions to enhancing quality of life and economic opportunities in Southern California.
It was a great night all-around, and our firm couldn’t have been happier to serve as a sponsor for this year’s event.
