SCG is excited to welcome two new interns to the team for the summer. Allison joins us from UCLA, and Alex joins us from Colgate University.

Allison Massey

Allison is a senior at UCLA where she is majoring in Public Affairs and minoring in Professional Writing. Prior to working at SCG, Allison worked as a legal intern for Judge Imre Karaszegi in the Superior Court of New Jersey, where she summarized cases for use during proceedings, conducted research on legal topics, and assisted with administrative tasks and communications. She also works as a Research Assistant at UCLA, where she aids in the recruitment process, conducts qualitative interviews, and codes and analyzes data.

Allison is passionate about ending gender-based violence, improving education policy, and increasing gun control. She is excited to learn more about the intersection between public affairs and communications, and gain hands-on-experience in this field.

Alex Rosso

Alex is a rising senior at Colgate University where he studies International Relations. Prior to joining Sugerman Communications, he interned with Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn, where he worked on projects related to income disparity and pollution. He also worked in the sports division at Hiltzik Strategies, a strategic communications firm located in New York City.

Alex, a Los Angeles native, is passionate about topics that concern the city, including education, and housing. He believes that clear communication is essential to creating a unified and prosperous Los Angeles community.

Alex plays quarterback on the Colgate University football team and enjoys watching the Rams, Dodgers, and Lakers whenever he can.
