We spent our day engaged in important conversations with our client, the Kimmelman Family Foundation, who is partnering with the U.S. Tennis Association Foundation and other leading organizations to bring an exciting philanthropic project to Los Angeles. We left energized – and even more determined – to advance this game-changing project for L.A. youth (we are eager to share the details soon!)
By evening, however, we found ourselves in prime seats at Arthur Ashe Stadium, watching 2017 U.S. Open champion Sloane Stephens face off against 17-year-old talent Coco Gauff. You couldn’t wipe the smile off Steve’s face, even as torrential rain pounded on the stadium’s closed roof. It was a stellar night of tennis followed by a memorable ride home through heavy rain and flooded roads.
It was an unforgettable experience, not just because of the outstanding tennis, but also the joyful return of spending quality time with clients and colleagues in person after so many months confined to Zoom.
Here’s to more client adventures in 2021 and beyond!
