Sugerman Group is excited to welcome Lizzie de Guzman to the team as junior associate.
A Baltimore native, Lizzie recently made the move from the East Coast to Los Angeles to join Sugerman Group, bringing her talent and perspective to contribute to our growing team.
She joins SCG with a strong foundation in strategic communications. Prior to SGC, Lizzie interned with the internal communications team at Johns Hopkins Hospital and the marketing and communications group at KID Museum in Bethesda.
She earned a bachelor’s in communication studies and master’s in strategic communication from American University in Washington, D.C. Outside of the classroom, Lizzie captained the varsity lacrosse team and founded a mental health advocacy group for student athletes.
She is extending her dedication to lacrosse beyond the collegiate level. Lizzie currently serves as a captain and founding member of the inaugural Philippines Women’s Lacrosse Team which will compete at the World Games in Tokyo in 2026.
She is passionate about media literacy and understanding diverse perspectives, and looks forward to using her educational, professional and personal experiences to create impact at SCG and across Los Angeles.
