Our firm is proud to have a strong affiliation with The Karsh Family Social Service Center at Wilshire Boulevard Temple. Our firm’s President is a board member, and our team has provided a variety of pro bono services since the non-profit opened its doors.
In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, The Karsh Center is going above and beyond to support at-risk residents in the local community near its home base in Koreatown.
Following the Los Angeles “Safer at Home” order, the Karsh Center leapt into action– providing bags of food, diapers, and personal hygiene products to over 600 families. They continue to provide diapers and bags of food by appointment, and the food pantry remains open on Sunday mornings.
The Karsh Center’s community-serving work was featured on KTLA 5’s “Link up with Lynette” segment on Sunday, March 29. Watch the news feature here.
The Karsh Center offers a range of programs, including legal services, mental health counseling, dental care, eye care, and food support. The Center continues to support the community during these uncertain and difficult times both inside and outside of their normal scope of operations.
We are incredibly thankful for the hard work and commitment of the Karsh Center team, led by Executive Director Lila Guirguis, and for providing us all with the hope that comes from witnessing acts of true human decency and compassion.
Thank you Karsh Center!
