At SCG, we take pride in working with organizations that are helping to shape the future of LA — and UCLA’s new Master of Real Estate Development (MRED) program is doing just that. We are honored to be lending a hand to UCLA on a pro-bono basis as Executive Director Greg Morrow and the team, based at the Luskin School of Public Affairs, prepare to welcome the inaugural student cohort this fall.
Over the past six months, we worked closely with faculty, staff and a group of volunteer real estate professionals to develop and amplify messaging, ensuring prospective students and the broader real estate community learn about the uniqueness of the new program. Roughly 70% of the program will be taught by a diverse group of industry leaders who make an impact in our city every day. We invited them to star in a video introducing the program. Check it out here:
We also helped with the media launch, with some terrific stories in the Los Angeles Business Journal and The Real Deal.
The pioneers behind UCLA’s new MRED program hope students will emerge as future leaders ready to create more livable, sustainable, and equitable communities – not just in L.A., but across the world. Our team is proud to have played a role in laying the groundwork for the success of this program.
